Salman Khan is enjoying a rocking life these days starting from his films to his reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ to his stage performances. But there is one more field, where the superstar is making his presence felt and that is in the field of charity.
Recently, the Dabangg star has donated bone marrow at ‘Marrow Donor Registry, India (MDRI)’ along with his younger brother Arbaaz Khan. With this, Sallu has become MDRI’s first bone marrow donator.
Dr. Sunil Parekh from MDRI has thanked Salman for this on behalf of the people suffering from the disease. The actor heard about a patient called Pooja, about four years back and then instantly he decided to help the girl. He kept his promise by donating his bone marrow and associated his foundation ‘Being Human’ with MDRI.
Dr Parekh said that the government did not help them properly but Salman did it. However, the 44-year-old actor is interested in making a film based on the issue because he feels there is no taker for such a film. Salman is right because his last issue-based film Phir Milenge, which was made on the topic of AIDS, bombed at the box office.

Bing-Facebook Social Search Rollout Complete

Our customers told us is that if they already had a Facebook friend relationship with a person under 18, they would like those people to surface in Bing's results as well. So we have changed tha feature to allow any Facebook user who has these features active to show up in searches
for their friends or friends of friends, which is more like the experience customers have within Facebook.
You should expect to see a "Liked by your Facebook friends" section in Bing's universal results for some queries: If you're signed into Facebook but don't want your results altered based on Facebook data when you search on Bing, all you have to do is hit the "Disable" option. Need to test out the "people search" results more (which shows up at the top of the SERP under the heading "People on Facebook: [Name Here]" and also gives you an option to send a message via Facebook), as they are hit-or-miss so far. Google will pay $8.5 million to settle a class action lawsuit brought against the company after its launch of Google Buzz. Google's attempt at challenging Twitter and Facebook in the social networking realm was greeted with a backlash from users upon its launch in February due to privacy concerns, as Google automatically shared personal data without the consent of Gmail users. Eva Hibnick filed the suit against Google a week after the service launched. While Google Buzz might have intrigued many as an outreach for marketing purposes, many people were hesitant and even resistant to adopt Google Buzz. Google contacted its Gmail service users today with the following information about the settlement:
    Google rarely contacts Gmail users via email, but we are making an exception to let you know that we've reached a settlement in a lawsuit regarding Google Buzz, a service we launched within Gmail in February of this year.
    Shortly after its launch, we heard from a number of people who were concerned about privacy. In addition, we were sued by a group of Buzz users and recently reached a settlement in this case. The settlement acknowledges that we quickly changed the service to address users' concerns. In addition, Google has committed $8.5 million to an independent fund, most of which will support organizations promoting privacy education and policy on the web. We will also do more to educate people about privacy controls specific to Buzz. The more people know about privacy online, the better their online experience will be.
    Just to be clear, this is not a settlement in which people who use Gmail can file to receive compensation. Everyone in the U.S. who uses Gmail is included in the settlement, unless you personally decide to opt out before December 6, 2010. The Court will consider final approval of the agreement on January 31, 2011.
